In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, bbgourmet's main priority is to ensure the safety and health of our team and customers.

 

We continue to follow carefully and implement the standards recommended by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) , and to practice intensified hygiene and safety rules, to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Some of the measures in force

Personal hygiene
Staff
  • We measure the temperature of all our employees at entry and exit, every day. If they are 37.5º or above, they stay at home and are advised to call the SNS24 line immediately.

  • We wash our hands every 20 minutes and whenever we change tasks or clients.

  • We use masks in all functions.

  • We use gloves to handle food and to clean.

Customers
  • All customers upon entering must:

    • Wear a mask

    • Disinfect their hands

  • We have gloves available at the store in order to facilitate access to cabinets, products and other surfaces.

Cleaning and disinfection
 
  • All our employees are trained in HAACP and covid-19 special measures.

  • The person in charge of the establishment has rigorous training and as a first priority, he must ensure that all safety rules and guidelines are followed.

  • In busy periods, we keep a staff member in the room on permanent cleaning and disinfection tasks.

  • We disinfect all surfaces used between one customer leaving and another arriving.

  • We maintain frequent cleaning of door handles, tables, counters, shop windows, phones, tablets, keyboards, bank terminals, cash registers and other surfaces.

Establishments
General
  • We have "mirror" teams in all of our spaces. One team on the opening rota and another team on the closing rota, and these do not coincide at any time. The aim is to reduce the risk of contact to a minimum.
Restaurants
  • The ventilation of our restaurants is essential: the air conditioning is equipped to renew the air, and we open the doors periodically (at the opening and before lunch and dinner services), for an hour, to induce air circulation.

  • The restaurant rooms have a capacity limited to 50% in order to guarantee a distance of 2 meters between people.

    • The maximum capacity is displayed in each room.

  • The toilets must be occupied by 1 person at a time.

Payments

  • We accept contactless payments - card and MBWay.

  • Given the greater ease of transmission, we only accept money in situations of unavailability of another method of payment.

Takeaway
  • For takeaway food, we accept only a limiteed number of people inside the store at any time. We ask that waiting be done outside the establishments.

  • We also ask that each person stay a maximum of 15 minutes in the store to avoid prolonged exposures.

Home deliveries

  • We use non-stick paper packaging, making it difficult for any virus to survive.

  • Deliveries can be left at the customer's door to avoid direct contact.

  • The online store only accepts prepayments (by Paypal or debit / credit card) in order to avoid handling money.

  • We currently deliver up to 20km from Boavista (Porto). In orders over 150€, delivery is free.
